Nibco 3/4" Union Elbow 90 Degree CxC (Second)

Here is a 3/4" 90° union elbow. It's intended for installing a disconnection location where there is a 90 degree change of direction. The connection at one end is bronze with a sweat socket. The connection on the other end is copper with a sweat socket. The bronze half and the brass nut are cast.

The fitting is not marked as, or known to be, "lead free", and so should be presumed to be unacceptable for use in potable water systems under current plumbing codes.

There is a 1/8" wide pit in the casting for the nut, at the female threads. It does not interfere with the installation of the nut or the water proofness of the seals.
