The tape will be cut to size, up to 14.5 inches. Here is a strip of Teflon tape for repairing impulse heat sealers. Teflon tape typically covers heating elements and is what contacts the plastic bag being sealed. The bag plastic doesn't stick to the Teflon. If your sealer's tape is burnt, or if bags stick to it, then you need new tape.
